As promised, this is the Dell 42U Rack... Very stylish. So now it will handle our DC, Exchange (front-end and back-end), ISA, Oracle, Altris & IIS. A UPS for all these servers...

~*~ It looks like a fridge to me ~*~

A fridge usually comes with two doors, one which acts like a freezer and the other as your normal refrigerator. Some freezers come separate and are good for storing fish and other sea food items, coz it smells bad after a while. In addition to that, some refrigerators come in mini sizes, just like the ones you find in hotel rooms and even smaller ones in cars.

So to answer your question, no, it does not look like a fridge; you need to see life out of the kitchen…

~*~ can you open it up? ~*~

Yes, it can open from the front and back. Though the back door splits into two right in the middle.

~*~ like does it have a door knob? ~*~

Yes it does have a knob, it is tucked inside the front door and the back doors too and it also comes with a key…

~*~ would you be able to fit inside? ~*~

Yes, it can take two grown men who are slim to medium build. I wanted to put my colleague in it once, but it was not empty for long, we filled it up with servers and what not. Do you want me to empty it and put you inside it? I will feed you once a week and…. ummm, I better stay quiet now…
